Going into a new environment or situation can be stressful for your child. Use the Bible story of Caleb and Joshua to show how we can put on our “eyes of faith and trust” instead of fear and intimidation to walk in God’s blessing for us.

Lord, when we are about to go somewhere or do something new or intimidating and we feel a little scared and don’t want to go, help us remember that You are with us wherever we go. Help us to look at new situations and circumstances with eyes of faith. Teach us to trust in You! Amen.
